I am a Jesus freak, husband, father, mechanic and pastor. I grew up in Bethel Acres, Oklahoma and it was there in 1996 that God grabbed a hold of my life and I accepted His son Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. Jesus changed my life from the inside out and from that moment on I haven’t looked back since. My life can be defined by Galatians 1:10 “Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.” (NIV84) I most definitely seek the approval of God above all and through all that I do. My wife Heather and I have been married since 2003 and we have 7 beautiful children. Shortly after I got married God called me into youth ministry. I served at Pink Baptist Church in Pink, Ok as a youth worker from 2003-2007. In October of 2007 I was given the opportunity to take over as youth pastor where I served until the end of 2009. Toward the beginning of 2010 God led my family to Mammoth Baptist Church in Meeker, Ok for the first time, where I served as youth pastor until 2014. I left Mammoth in the middle of 2014 and pursued God to Southwest Kansas where I served as youth pastor for Sublette Southern Baptist Church in Sublette, Ks until October of 2017. After I left Kansas God graciously allowed my family to move back home to serve in Oklahoma. In May of 2018 God led my family to Mammoth Baptist Church for a second time, but this time so I could serve in a different capacity. Not only was God gracious in allowing my family to move back to Oklahoma, but He has been gracious in calling us back to a church that we absolutely cherish! As associate pastor my role is to not only to assist the senior pastor and in the various ministries of the church, but I have an absolute focus on serving college students and young adults along with their families. This is something that Mammoth Baptist Church and I find extremely important and I am blessed to be a part of this great church!
