Interim Youth Minister
Evan Anderson
Evan Anderson currently serves as the Interim Youth Minister at Mammoth Baptist Church. Previously, he has served as the collegiate ministry intern at Immanuel Baptist Church, Shawnee and as a pastoral intern at FBC Lindsay, Oklahoma. During his time at IBC, Evan was licensed to the Gospel Ministry. He also currently serves as a Research Associate for the Land Center for Cultural Engagement.
Evan is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, where he majored in Biblical and Theological Studies with an emphasis in Theology and Church History. While at OBU, he served as a team lead for a Ministry Alliance group and as a Teaching Assistant for courses in the field of Biblical Studies, while occasionally lecturing in these courses. After graduating from OBU, Evan moved to Fort Worth, Texas and attended Southwestern Seminary where he earned his Master of Divinity and a certificate in Theological Studies. While at Southwestern, Evan was a member of the Southwestern Society for Pastoral Ministry. Currently, Evan is earning his Ph.D. in Systematic Theology with a minor in Church History from Gateway Seminary in Ontario, CA.
Evan has a desire to see Christians grow in their walk with the Lord and to help people navigate the world around them as they journey toward the Celestial City. He seeks to live a life centered on the Lordship of Christ, and to lead others to do the same. Ultimately, he desires for the Triune God to be glorified and made known in everything he does.
